Our attention has been drawn to some fraudulent individuals/entities giving fake job offers to job-seekers through email/ SMS/links on WhatsApp, etc. These individuals/entities demand money by way of security deposit or direct expatriate job-seekers to contact a certain law firm which will help them to secure Affidavit of Guarantee and Letter of Attestation from the Ghanaian High Court.
Please note that Amaja Oilfield Ltd follows a merit-based recruitment process and does NOT
1. demand/accept any money whether by way of security deposit or otherwise,
2. demand/accept Affidavit of Guarantee and Letter of Attestation from applicants for jobs.
3. Send job offers from free email services like Gmail, Rediffmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail, etc.
All direct contact with prospective candidates is made from a legitimate @amajaoilfield.com email addresses or telephone numbers of Amaja Oilfield Ltd. However, sometimes recruitment process is done through professional recruiting agencies. In such cases, offers are always made directly by Amaja Oilfield Ltd and not by any third parties.
If you receive an interview call or offer letter stating that it is from or for Amaja Oilfield, it is highly recommended that you immediately check the authenticity of the same and refrain from submitting any original documents or making any form of payment either in cash or through bank remittances.
Anyone dealing with such fake interview calls and job offers would be doing so at his/her own risk and Amaja Oilfield Ltd will not be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered by such persons, directly or indirectly.
Amaja Oilfield Ltd reserves the right to take legal action, including criminal action, against such fraudulent individuals/entities.
